BIG BITES CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
All orders once placed on the Big Bites Platform are considered final and in the event of a cancellation request from the customer, may be subject to a Cancellation Fee. The Cancellation Fees applicable will be determined at the sole discretion of Big Bites.
In case a cancellation is requested for a Trip request made for the services of the Independent Third Party Auto-Rickshaw Drivers that has been confirmed, the booking may also be subject to Cancellation Fees to compensate the Auto-Rickshaw Drivers for the distances they may have already traveled.
In case a cancellation is requested for a Food Delivery Order made through the Big Bites Platform that has already been confirmed, the order may also be subject to Cancellation Fees to compensate the Restaurants and Delivery Partners, as may be the case.
You shall be notified of the applicable Cancellation Fee in advance whenever you attempt to cancel a confirmed order request. The notification shall be via the Platform, SMS, Email,Telephone or in person. Big Bites, may at its sole discretion waive the Cancellation Fees applied.
Big Bites, on rare occasions, may have to cancel a confirmed order in the event of; items in your order being unavailable, the designated address falls outside the delivery zone offered by us, a failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking, a failure to deliver your order due to lack of information,direction or authorization from you at the time of delivery.
If the Cancellation is initiated by Big Bites for any reason, no Cancellation Fees will be applied to you.
You shall be entitled to a refund only if you pre-pay for your order at the time of placing your order on the Platform and only in the event of any of the following circumstances:
Your order packaging has been tampered or damaged at the time of delivery;
Us cancelling your order due to your delivery location falling outside our designated delivery zones and/or failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking.
You cancelling the order at the time of confirmation due to unavailability of the items you ordered for at the time of booking.
Our decision on refunds shall beat our sole discretion and shall be final and binding.
All refund amounts shall be credited to your account within 5 business days in accordance with the terms that may be stipulated by the bank which has issued the credit / debit card used for payment.
In case of payment at the time of delivery, you will not be required to pay for:
Orders where the packaging has been tampered or damaged;
Wrong order being delivered;
Items missing from your order at the time of delivery.
