THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU
1.Information that you provide voluntarily: This includes but is not limited to, Registration information when you create an account with Big Bites. Logon information such as your Email, Password, Name, Address, Mobile Phone Number, Post Code, and Geo-location.
2.Transaction Information when you place an Order: This includes but is not limited to Trip Request Information, Restaurant Order information and Billing information. Activity Information such as Live Tracking Information using GPS coordinates and Order History. Communications that facilitate the transmission of your Trip Request to the Independent third party Auto Rickshaw Drivers and Order information to the Restaurant. Ratings made by you on our Services. Status Updates on your Orders posted on Social Media or other Media pertaining to our Services. Emails, SMS and all form of communication as part of any queries or questions related to our Services. Information on the devices used to access the Big Bites Platform.
3.Information regarding your marketing preferences: This includes but is not limited to Customised marketing information and your preferences, Feedback on our Services, Cookies and similar technologies that measure and analyze the use and effectiveness of our Services. Information that allows us to customize and optimize the targeting of advertising for our Services across other websites and platforms. Reviews submitted by you about our Services, Restaurants and Independent Third Party Auto-Rickshaw Drivers.
4.Information that we obtain from third-party sources: This includes but is not limited to Analytics reports and market research surveys that measure the performance of marketing campaigns for our Services and better understand your preferences so that we can customize our marketing campaigns and Services accordingly.
STORAGE, USE, DISCLOSURE AND DISTRIBUTION OF YOUR INFORMATION
We store and use the information collected from you for the following purposes.
1.To provide you with an enhanced experience when using the Services. We also use your information to maintain and improve our Services, such as to enable new Trip Requests and Food Delivery orders.
2.To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us. This includes troubleshooting, data analysis, testing and for marketing purposes.
3.To enable Independent Third Party Auto-Rickshaw drivers and Independent Third Party Food Delivery Operators to contact and find you in order to deliver our services to you, we provide them with your Information, including Name, Pick Up & Delivery Address, Geo-Location, Mobile Number and Order Details.
4.To enable our partner restaurants, merchants and Independent Third Party Auto-Rickshaw drivers and Independent Third Party Food Delivery Operators to track the progress of delivery or status of the order placed by our customers.
5.We use your geo-location information for enabling you to view the restaurants and Independent Third Party Auto-Rickshaw drivers that are close to your location, for you to set your pick-up location, for the drivers to identify the pick-up location and to send you location-based promotions and offers.
6.To monitor which features of the Platform are used most and to determine which features we need to focus on improving. To enable you to view your previous trips and order history, rate trips, review restaurants and review Independent Third Party Auto-Rickshaw drivers.
7.To generate reports and data about usage patterns and to conduct market research on our user base and Service usage patterns. This includes understanding user behavior, preferences, demographics and trends.
8.We may anonymize information collected from you through the use of our platform and combine it with the information that we receive from third parties for improving our Services.
9.We use your device information collected from using our Platform to ensure we are able to serve you with the correct mobile application versions for your particular device type.
We disclose and share the information collected from you for the following purposes.
1.To fulfil the purpose for which you provided the information to us.
2.We may share this information with the Police and Governmental agencies if obligated to do so under the applicable laws or if required to do so under court orders and processes. To detect and prevent potential or actual theft, fraud, abuse of Services and other criminal or illegal acts.
3.We may share this information when required to respond to claims that any content on our Platform violates the law.
4.We may share this information when required to respond to claims that any content on our platform violates the intellectual property rights of a third party.
5.We may share this information to enforce our Big Bites Terms of Service and other agreements, policies or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the firm, our customers, or others, or in the event of a claim or dispute relating to your use of our Services.
6.We may share this information with our Marketing partners and Service providers or business partners, including Online Payment processing companies, to ensure smooth delivery of our Services and improving our business.
7.When you make a Trip request or Online food delivery order, your information which is sent to us is transmitted to the relevant partner restaurant and Independent Third Party Auto-Rickshaw drivers and/or Independent Third Party Food Delivery Operators. Status updates on your order for the services provided by us will also be transmitted back to you via Email, SMS, Telephone or In-person.
8.We also share the information about our Independent Third Party Auto-Rickshaw drivers and Independent Third Party Food Delivery Operators to the users to improve service delivery. This includes but is not limited to name, phone number, Geo-location, Profile picture and Tracking details as applicable.
9.We may share this information with members of our firm, Big Bites, for internal purposes to improve our service delivery and internal business purposes.
11.We may offer Promotions through our Platform. By participating in a Promotion, you are agreeing to the terms that govern that Promotion. These may include allowing Big Bites to use your name, picture, video, voice and/or likeness in advertising or marketing associated with the Promotion. By entering a Promotion, you also agree that your Information may be disclosed to the public in connection with the administration of such Promotion. This includes winner selection, prize fulfillment, and those required by law or required by the Promotion’s official rules, such as your information being displayed on a winners list on our platform.
INFORMATION SECURITY AND OPT OUT
Big Bites maintains appropriate security measures to secure the information collected by us. We use standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet or other mediums. You are advised not to send any information (including credit card/banking information) through unencrypted electronic platforms.
Your logon information and password enables you to access the services provided by Big Bites. You are responsible for keeping your login information and password secure. In the event you feel that your logon information has been accessed without your consent, you should change your password immediately and contact us through the Grievance Officer below. We also recommend that you never disclose your password to anyone.
If you wish to unsubscribe and OPT OUT of the Services offered by Big Bites, you can do so by making a request to the Grievance Officer below. You may also withdraw your consent for the Storage, Use, Disclosure, and Distribution of your information. Please write to the Grievance Officer below. We will process your OPT OUT / Delete Information Request within 10 working days. Information once deleted cannot be recovered. We will, however, retain your Usage Information and Transactional History needed to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
